Description
SUMMARY
The Chevron door is a bold and striking choice for making a statement. Its unique zigzag pattern, created by fitting cladding pieces cut at a 45-degree angle, resembles the intricate craftsmanship of French parquet flooring. This geometric design adds a touch of modernity to any architectural style.
Not only are these doors visually appealing, but they are also highly durable. They feature faux wood cladding and overlays crafted from real wood, adhered to an insulated steel base door. This construction ensures strength, energy efficiency, and quiet operation. The composite material can be customized with a variety of paint or stain colors to suit your personal taste.
CONSTRUCTION OVERVIEW
The door’s construction comprises five layers: steel, insulation, steel, composite cladding, and overlay. It incorporates Intellicore polyurethane foam insulation with a thermal break, offering an impressive R-value of 20.4. The boards used for the cladding are molded from real wood pieces, providing a natural look and feel. Stain colors available include Walnut, Dark, Medium, and Slate, while paint colors include Black, White, Charcoal, Bronze, or Primed for field finishing. Additionally, there is an option for WINDCODE® reinforcement for areas with high wind loads.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
There are eight door styles to choose from, featuring four different Chevron designs. You also have the option to select from three wood species: Mahogany, Clear Cypress, and Pecky Cypress. Furthermore, you can customize your door with optional windows and decorative hardware. The finish can be either a stain or paint.
